Nutze die App zur Synchronisation auf ein NAS. Funktioniert wirklich gut. Ich hatte zunächst ein Problem mit dem Ausschluss einzelner Unter-Ordner. Meine Anfrage an den Support wurde innerhalb weniger Stunden beantwortet - alles klappt nun tadellos. Great App with perfect support. I use the app for synchronizing files with a NAS. The functionality is really good. I had an issue with excluding some sub-folders at first uses. My support request was processed within hours and everything is working just fine now. Thanks

Good app, but lacks something like «Job Function». It could be possible to create a JOB with several tasks instead run various tasks simultaneously.

Does not perform as advertised. Not recommended

This app handles all of my syncing between computers needs. I sync between OSX and win7 with no issues. I even asked the developer to add a feature and he DID, VERY quickly. Highly recommended.

Whenever I close that app it keeps asking if I want to close the window or the app. Make a default option please Access to log from the task bar Works as advertised

I have used four different sync tools on my iMac. This one is the best by far. I particularly like the option to select multiple tasks to run sequentially. The customer support is remarkable. I asked about a feature that was not available in the app, and within hours the developer sent me a script to try out which might do what I was looking for. The script that the developer sent to me worked perfectly. I cant recommend this app enough.

Installed it, picked two folders, chose my sync method, clicked on sync and app does nothing. Just freezes, no CPU, no disk activity. I have OS X 10.8.4, 16Gb RAM, SSD, core i7. No errors, no warnings, no progress indicators, nothing. The app doesnt even respond.

Excellent app! Sync Folder Pro won over a few similar apps due to: Speed, transparency, accuracy, and customization (rMBP). Works for basics or for highly customizable advanced features. Love the scan speed and the dynamic “live” animated Menu icon with quick right-click options without having to dig into app Preferences. One thing this one has is flawless bi-directional scans between Mac and NAS drives (Buffalo & WDEX4 RAID). Also has option for the paranoid with immediate sync subject to edit in any app (I use it for txt. notes in FoldingText). The WD Sync that comes with NAS drive is okay for unidirectional (Mac to NAS) but not the other way resulting in multiple copies of txt following edits on mobile clients. My ChronoSync Scheduler app does awesome for timed sync but for constant monitoring bidirectional updates, Sync Folder is the king. Considering I paid equal or more for similar apps on App Store that turned out to be total duds (I suppose, donations to support budding programmers), this one is a steal. Sync Folder Pro consumes extremely trivial memory and while the interface is not Apple-lesque, it does the job flawlessly. A truly set-it-and-forget app. Excellent customer service too.

Thanks a lot for your great support. You are always updating the app and it goes better and better everyday. This is the best solution for your sync processes on Mac. There are many other waste of time solutions in the store. I am very happy with this one.

The program does what its supposed to do. Contact with the developer is excellent. Theres place for little improvements, so I keep waiting for a new version.

This is a great pieace of software, and has a variety of options offering custumisation. My only concern is its stability. The menubar icon has a anoying tendency to turn red (or other non-green colors) to indicate a error, which prevents autosyncing. This happens unaceptably often and moreover thus far I am unable to identify the cause of this. If the developer is reading this please fix this issue.

Very helpful must have app but still imperfect. If you delete files in Finder then it sees that you deleted files and applies the change to synced folder. But once you do it in e.g. Adobe Photoshop Bridge (CS6) the deleted files will fly back to you again and mirrored sync does not work until you delete files in both folders. Another shortcoming is a status screen: while the program is copying you can go to the “Tasks” tab and select another task, once you return to the status “Sync” tab you will get confusing information that the new selected task i just being executed, while actualy it still exectues the previous task. It could be really helpful to see what is currently going on: you see names of files but not the folder names, so you cannot react if something that you really did not wanted to happen occures.

It is a good app with a lot of options but please add "preview before sync" option. The user should overview the syncing modifications before apply them ( ex. which files will be replaced, which deleted and so on…).

This user interface is very cryptic and it is not clear what you are selecting or how it would be set up properly … and I’m an “IT guy” too! I’ve worked with various utilities uincluding gsync and the ever popular Windows “Laplink”. These were easy user interfaces. You could tell what you were setting up and what was being done. This app is not ready for public use. Half the time you launch it, nothing happens!

This is a great program in concept. The issue I have is it usually crashes after a manual sync. Im running Mt. Lion and am having some frequent crash issues. Im disappointed I can’t install the latest version the author has made available. My non Mac App Store update program tells me there is a newer version but I’m not going to pay for the program twice. Perhaps the newer version (bumped up quite a few versions) works flawlessly (sigh) but until it is updated in the Mac App Store I will not know. The dock icon CAN NOT be hidden (at least in Mt. Lion) but that is not a “deal breaker.” It’s a minimal inconvenience. If this software worked flawlessly it would be indispensable to me. It will usually sync a task but with the frequent crashes (Mt. Lion) it is moderately useful. Author. Please make the updated version available in the Mac App Store!!

Auto sync works great! Runs in the background and out of the way. Highly recommend!

Sync Folders Pro worked great until I installed Mountain Lion. Now when I launch Sync Folders Pro, it acts like it is starting, but nothing happens. In Finder it thinks the app has been launched but when I look at Force Quit the Sync Folders application does not appear. So somewhere during the launch process the application hangs. I can not kill the app and can not use the app. To bad, I liked the interface but need a stable app for work.

Until the latest update of the Sync Folders Pro software it was working fine with Mountain Lion. After last night night…….nothing. Same results as review given by Sugolfguy. What did you do to my software? Worthless if it wont start up. Where I work we thoroughly test something against all OS versions before rolling it out.
